What is The Social and Behavioral Science Laboratory (SBSL)?
The Social and Behavioral Science Laboratory facilitates in-depth research in social and behavioral sciences by providing state-of-the-art facilities for NYUSH academics and students. It is a purpose-built facility that provides a controlled experimental environment for the study of human behaviors. The SBSL is open to any member of NYUSH.

- Urban Survey Data Lab equipped with 22 PCs
- Observation Lab consisting of an observation room and a control room, equipped with observation cameras
- Sexual Research Lab equipped with a controlled lighting system
- 1 Virtual Reality Lab
- 1 Group Testing Room with 6 PC cubicles
- 6 Individual Testing Rooms
- 2 Group Laboratories
- Reception and waiting area

If you are a student, you need to obtain approval from your faculty sponsor (the booking form will require you to upload a screenshot as evidence).
