Abstract:

In this presentation, I will provide an instructive overview of a method for determining exact quantum dynamics by decoupling the Heisenberg system of equations into blocks of polynomial complexity. Ordinarily, finding a Heisenberg representation of a local observable in a many-qubit system is a formidable task. However, there are specific systems where this can be accomplished efficiently. We will explore systems such as the disordered XY spin chain in a magnetic field and the associated class of circuits known as matchgate. Additionally, we will discuss how to account for dissipation in these systems. We will also discuss how to apply this method for more complicated Hamiltonians such as, for example, Kitaev model, which are not quadratic in fermionic representation.
