Koresh Galil is a Visiting Associate Professor of Finance at NYU Shanghai. He is also an Associate Professor of Finance and the Head of the Accounting Program at the Economics Department of Ben-Gurion University. He holds PhD and M.A. in Economics and B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Tel-Aviv University. He previously worked in the Center for Financial Studies (CFS) in Goethe University of Frankfurt and the Interdisciplinary Center for Technology Analysis and Forecasting (ICTAF) at Tel-Aviv University.
Professor Galil’s research interests are in empirical finance, fixed-income securities, credit risk, and credit ratings. His research has appeared in publications such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Financial Stability, the Journal of Empirical Finance and more.
