Gang Fang, Assistant professor of biology at NYU Shanghai
Gang Fang is assistant professor of biology at NYU Shanghai. He is also affiliate assistant professor at the Department of Biology and Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at NYU's campus in New York City. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was an associate research scientist at Yale University. He holds a PhD from Institute Pasteur, France, and BS and MS degrees from Peking University, China.
Fang’s research interests are genomics, molecular evolution, and computational biology. He is also affiliate assistant professor at the Department of Biology and Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at NYU's campus in New York City.
Jungseog Kang, Assistant Professor of Biology at NYU Shanghai
Jungseog Kang is an assistant professor of Biology at NYU Shanghai. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was a research scientist at UT southwestern medical center. He holds a Ph.D. from UT Austin and a B.A. from KAIST in Korea.
Kang’s research interests are chromosome segregation, mitosis, and antimitotic cancer drug screen. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was a research scientist at UT southwestern medical center.
Yifei Qi, Research Associate Professor in College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at East China Normal University
Yifei Qi received his B.S. in Physics and Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Peking University in 2006 and 2012. Following that, he did his postdoctoral research in Prof. Wonpil Im’s group at University of Kansas from 2012 to 2016. He is now a Research Associate Professor in College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, East China Normal University.
Qi’s current research interest is development and application of computational protein design method.
Lujia Zhang, Associate Professor in School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at East China Normal University
Lujia Zhang is an associate professor in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at East China Normal University. Zhang received his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and M.S. in Biochemical Engineering from Nanjing Tech University, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from East China University of Science and Technology.
Zhang’s main research interest is the applications in life science research of computational biology, bioinformatics and high performance computing.
