Abstract of the Talk
Our project is mainly focusing on developing world-class big data platform and innovative data service for medical research and to initiate medical big data industries and to guide the direction of precision medicine all over the world.
We are committed to develop healthcare big data platform by studying: 1) integration of clinical data and biology research data, 2) knowledge representation and management for personalized medical treatment, 3) large-scale combination analysis between patient's physiological and biological data, and 4) work-flow automation of clinical data analysis in basic medical science and drug discovery.
By establishing the healthcare big data research center for personalized-oriented medicine, we expect to enhance the capabilities of health and medical research based on big data driven methodology especially personalized medicine applications，accomplishing the demands for the informatization and digitalization in health and medicine industries.
Speaker
Zhihua Liu, Professor/Ph.D. supervisor, has a wealth of experience in healthcare big data, biomedical engineering, digital medicine and precision medicine. He has presided over more than 20 national scientific research programs, published more than 30 papers as first author/corresponding author. He has also been employed as the editorial board in numerous internationally peer-reviewed academic journals. Now, he has been awarded a number of honors including “New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education”, “Beijing Excellent Talents”, “Beijing New Star”, “Shenzhen Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award”, Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talents "Peacock Plan”.
