This Fall, the NYU-ECNU Institute of Physics at NYU Shanghai is delighted to announce the addition of three new faculty members to its academic community. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to these new colleagues.

(John) Alex Crosse, Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice in Physics and Mathematics, NYU Shanghai. His research interests are in the control of quantum systems (atoms, electrons, photons) using novel materials (e.g. graphene, topological insulators).

Bing Qi, Associate Professor of Physics, NYU Shanghai. His research interests lie in quantum cryptography, quantum communications and networking, and optical sensing.

Chandrashekar Radhakrishnan, Visiting Associate Professor of Practice in Computer Science, NYU Shanghai. His research interests encompass quantum information theory, quantum computing, statistical mechanics and mathematical physics.
