This workshop will bring together big data and environmental studies scholars and practitioners—from the Shanghai area and globally- to brainstorm about the possibilities for research collaboration using currently available China and global data sources. The goals of the workshop are both to develop collaboration potentials and to place NYU Shanghai as part of a Shanghai area community of environmental studies scholars/practitioners, with particular focus on NYU Shanghai’s strength in Big Data analysis.
