About:

To promote the scholarly exchange in areas of math and physics, the first round of Department of Math and Physics Specialized Project (Scholarly Activities) is now open for application. 
 

Funded activities:

  1. Influential series of international conferences held in China
  2. National-level academic conferences (Tier I and Tier II)
  3. Strategic and management research related to the development of the National Natural Science Grant, as well as thematic workshops and seminars
  4. Science communication and popular science outreach activities

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a senior professional technical position (title) or a Ph.D
  • Applicants must have led at least one national-level research project (as PI)
  • Scientific and Technological Activity Projects are exempt from the total limit on concurrent applications and active projects
  • An applicant may only submit one application per year for this program

By April 20, 2026Please send your application materials to us for an institutional review.
By 4PM April 29, 2026Applicants submit the final version of their applications online.
