About:
To promote the scholarly exchange in areas of interdisciplinary sciences, the Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences Specialized Project (Scholarly Activities) is now open for application.
Funding Scope:
This program supports thematic workshops and symposia that can effectively advance the development of interdisciplinary science or contribute to high-level strategic planning and roadmap development in interdisciplinary research. More details can be found in the official announcement.
Period: January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027
Funding: up to RMB 100,000 per project
Eligibility:
- Applicants have led or is leading a national-level research project.
- Applicants must hold a senior professional technical position (title).
- This program is exempt from the total limit on concurrent applications and active projects.
- An applicant may only submit one application per year for this program.
Applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of the development patterns and emerging trends in the relevant interdisciplinary research area. They are encouraged to consult the relevant program office prior to the submission.
