About:
The Shanghai Rising-Star Program aims to foster outstanding young scientists by supporting their innovative research. Competitive candidates are expected to have demonstrated strong innovation ability and great academic leadership potential in relevant research field.
 
Project Term: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024
 
Funding Scale: RMB 400,000
 
Eligibility:
  1. Under 35 years old (i.e., born after Jan. 1, 1986);
  2. Hold a Ph. D. degree;
  3. Have experience of undertaking basic research projects as PI.
  4. Applicant who has any ongoing talent program (i.e. Sailing, Pujiang, Easter Scholar, Chenguang, Shuguang, etc.) are NOT eligible to apply.
     
Please note this program is quota-based, and NYU Shanghai can nominate two candidates this year. There would be an internal nomination if there are more intent received.

February 22 , 2021Send your application to us for institutional review.
