Abstract:
We consider the Poisson rain model for queues introduced by Bacceli and Foss and two questions raised. When is there a stability regime and when can we say that under stability the limiting regime starting from vacancy is the only stable equilibrium. The approach becomes a simple approach of the GLA results and techniques of Cox, Gandolfi, Griffin and Kesten. This is a joint work together with Serguey Foss and Takis Konstantoupoulus.
