About:

To promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, applications are now open for the second phase of the 2026 Emergency Management Project, "Research on the AI’s Impact on the Economy and Society and Corresponding Policy Responses".

This program involves several sub-topics, including AI’s impact on scientific research paradigms, macroeconomic operations, business organizational structures, employment, healthcare and eldercare, education, governance, and global cooperation.  Please log in the NSFC grants system or contact us at shanghai.researchgrants@nyu.edu to see the full guide.

 

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must hold a senior professional technical position (title) or a doctoral degree.
  2. This project is not counted toward the limit of two concurrent applications or ongoing projects for personnel with senior professional technical positions (titles).
  3. Each applicant may only apply for one Special Project (including Emergency Management Projects) within the same calendar year.
  4. Individuals currently leading or participating in an ongoing Emergency Management Project of the Department of Management cannot apply, either as PI or participant.
