About:
To promote the scholarly exchange in areas of math and physics, the first round of Department of Math and Physics Specialized Project (Scholarly Activities) is now open for application.
Funded activities:
- Influential series of international conferences held in China
- National-level academic conferences (Tier I and Tier II)
- Strategic and management research related to the development of the National Natural Science Grant, as well as thematic workshops and seminars
- Science communication and popular science outreach activities

Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a senior professional technical position (title) or a Ph.D
- Applicants must have led at least one national-level research project (as PI)
- Scientific and Technological Activity Projects are exempt from the total limit on concurrent applications and active projects
- An applicant may only submit one application per year for this program
