What is China's healthcare industry like? What are the unique opportunities and challenges of doing business in China compare with other countries? Joshua Kurtzig, a senior executive at United Family Healthcare, will share his insights and experiences with the NYU Shanghai community.

Joshua Kurtzig is Vice President for Healthcare Partnerships at United Family Healthcare. Previously, he was the general manager of Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, CEO of United Family Intermed Hospital in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and the general manager of United Family Home Health, all at United Family Healthcare. Before moving into healthcare, Mr. Kurtzig worked in investment management for 10 years. Mr. Kurtzig's experience in the financial services and investment industry includes time spent at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Stonebridge International, and the International Monetary Fund. He holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business, as well as degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Virginia.

Heini Shi, Professor of Practice in Management, will introduce Joshua Kurtzig and moderate the Q&A session.
