How fast is China's economy growing? What are the driving forces behind it? In this talk, Vincent Chan will discuss the economic situation in the Greater China Area, its current concerns and future prospects. He will also examine China’s ecosystem of innovation and technology and highlight some key research areas in which China could become a global technology leader.

Vincent Chan is a Managing Director and Head of China Macro Research for Credit Suisse. He is responsible for covering China economics and strategy. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in May 2004, Vincent worked at UBS, covering China economics and strategy, and was also Head of China A-Share research for the equity research department. Vincent has been ranked in various polls since 1999, and the Credit Suisse China Research Team has consistently been among Top 3 of Institutional Investors Poll in recent years. Vincent received his Master of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Hong Kong. 

Professor Francisco Drohojowski will introduce Vincent Chan and moderate the post-talk Q&A.
