In this talk, I will describe the Activated Random Walk model, some questions of interest, and the current state of art. Considerable progress has been made since I gave a seminar here two years ago. If time allows, I will present some of the new tools and proofs.
Biography
Leonardo T. Rolla obtained the PhD in 2008 at IMPA, Rio de Janiero. He is an Assistant Professor at the Argentinian National Research Council at University of Buenos Aires and Visiting Assistant Professor at NYU-Shanghai. His research interests include Percolation, Particle Systems, and Spatial Processes.
