Abstract:

Consideration in this talk is a universal phenomenon arising from the random matrix theory, namely, the hard-to-soft edge transition. By showing that the symmetrically transformed Bessel kernel admits a full asymptotic expansion for the large parameter, we establish a hard-to-soft edge transition expansion. The talk is based on a joint work with Luming Yao.
