Institute member Professor Li Li was invited to deliver a talk at the Elsevier Neuroscience Online Seminar held on September 17, 2022.
Professor Li presented her research “Impaired Ocular Tracking and Cortical Atrophy in Idiopathic Rapid Eye Movement Sleep Behavior Disorder” at the seminar. Through experiments, the research team found ocular-tracking abnormalities in patients with idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) even early in their disease progression that have not been reported before. These abnormalities are coupled with atrophy of brain areas involved in the perception of object motion and might indicate phenoconversion to synucleinopathies in iRBD.
Professor Li also shared with the audiences regarding Publishing in Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews and participated in the Panel Discussion: Meet Editors & Elsevier. Professor Li currently serves as Associate Editor for Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews (Elsevier), and Subject Editor for Displays (Elsevier).
