CONFERENCE THEME
Geopolitical risks are of great concern to not only politicians and policy makers but also investors in a world with the increasing communication and interaction among countries. It is especially true as the geopolitical shocks of the past few years have become a major driver to the global market volatility. The investigation of geopolitical risk and its financial implications is therefore of great importance. While papers on all topic are welcome, including asset pricing, corporate finance, market microstructure, behavioral finance, capital markets, macro-financial linkages, and international finance, submissions that focus on “Financial Implications of Geopolitical Risks” are especially encouraged.
