Abstract:

In this talk we shall discuss the global regularity estimates of the solutions in Sobolev spaces and Orlicz spaces for higher-order divergence and nondivergence elliptic and parabolic equations in the whole space. We only need to focus on the parabolic case since the corresponding result in the elliptic case can be obtained as a corollary.

 

Biography:

Prof Fengping Yao holds his Ph.D. from Peking University in June 2008. Now he is an associate professor at Department of Mathematics in Shanghai University. Prof Yao’s research interests are regularity estimates on elliptic and parabolic equations. His work has appeared in J. Funct. Anal., Potential Anal., Math. Methods Appl. Sci.,Nonlinear Anal., J. Math. Anal. Appl. and so on.
