I am going to discuss a few questions, with but more often without answers, about the asymptotics of the Derrida-Retaux (2014) hierarchical renormalisation model. Joint work with Xinxing Chen, Bernard Derrida, Yueyun Hu and Mikhail Lifshits.

Zhan Shi is a Professor at University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris - France. His research interests include spatial branching processes and random walks.
