Abstract:

We will discuss the theory of the two-valued sets of the twodimensional continuous Gaussian free field. In particular, we will focus on its relationship with the imaginary chaos and with the XOR-Ising model. Based on joint works with Juhan Aru, Titus Lupu, Lucas Schoug, Frederik Viklund and Wendelin Werner.

Biography:

Avelio Sepúlveda is a Post-doc at Université Lyon 1, he got his Ph.D. in 2017 at ETH Zürich under the direction of Wendelin Werner.  His main interest has been the study of two-dimensional random geometry, in particular, the geometric properties of the 2-dimensional Gaussian free field.
