Prior joining NYU Shanghai as a Fellow of Mathematics, Vlad did his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics between 2010-2013 in Romania at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Bucharest, followed by his Master's Degree in Mathematics at ETH Zurich between  2013-2015 where he wrote his Master's Thesis under Prof. Antti Knowles, and his PhD in Mathematics between 2015-2019 under the supervision of Prof. Dmitry Belyaev and Prof. Terry Lyons at the University of Oxford.
