Assistant Professor of Practice in Mathematics at NYU Shanghai
Chi-Kwong Fok is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Mathematics at NYU Shanghai. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was a lecturer in mathematics at the University of Auckland, a research associate at the University of Adelaide, and a postdoctoral research fellow in the National Center for Theoretical Sciences in Taiwan. Professor Fok's research involves studying spaces with physical implications and desirable symmetries using machinery from algebraic topology and K-theory. His work has appeared in Journal of the London Mathematical Society, Journal of Geometry and Physics and Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society.
