Abstract:

We discuss the approach to equilibrium for a stochastic NLS, by analyzing the associated Fokker-Planck equation, and making connections with a Witten- Laplacian, among other things. (This is based on a paper with Lebowitz and Mounaix, and another paper with Carlen, Froehlich and Lebowitz.)
