Seminar - Supercritical Behavior of Asymmetric Zero-range Process with Sitewise Disorder

Topic:
Supercritical Behavior of Asymmetric Zero-range Process with Sitewise Disorder
Date & Time:
Tuesday, March 1, 2016 - 11:00 to 12:00
Speaker:
Krishnamurthi Ravishankar, NYU Shanghai
Location:
Room 264, Geography Building, Zhongbei Campus, ECNU

The seminar is sponsored by NYU-ECNU Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU Shanghai.

Abstract:

We establish necessary and sufficient conditions for weak convergence to upper invariant measure for asymmetric one dimensional nearest neighbor zero range process with inhomogeneous jump rates. This extends the previous results for the totally asymmetric case with unit rate function to asymmetric systems with arbitrary bounded increasing rate functions.
