Abstract:

Some elementary discussions will be given on the wave propagation and its slowdown of the F-KPP equation by means of random spatial branching processes.

Biography:

Zhan Shi is a Visiting Professor at NYU Shanghai and Professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie Paris VI. His research interests include spatial branching processes and random walks.
