Abstract of the Talk
Biography of the Speaker
Weijun Xu is Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at NYU Shanghai. He obtained PhD at Oxford in 2013, and has held postdoc position at Warwick. His research interests include singular stochastic PDEs, weak universalities, and rough paths. His work straddles a number of classical fields in mathematics, including PDE, harmonic analysis, probability, and numerical analysis. He was awarded an EPSRC fellowship in 2016 for investigation on “Singular stochastic PDEs and related statistical physics models”.
