Abstract:
We will talk about the Q-curvature equation (-Δ)n/2u = Q(x)enu in Rn. When n = 2, it is the prescribed Gauss curvature equation -Δu = K(x)e2u in R2, called also the Liouville equation, for which many classical results exist. The situation for is more involved and less understood for other dimensions. We will try to present some recent results, for both the constant curvature and non constant curvature case.
