Biography:
Michel Chipot graduated from the University of Paris 6. He first occupied various positions in France (Nancy, Metz) in the USA (Maryland, Minnesota, Carnegie Mellon). In 1995 he moved to Zurich on the chair of applied analysis. He is an elected member of the European Academy of Sciences and the author of more than 180 articles and 7 books.
