The conference brings together international scholars who have made significant contributions to the mathematics of nonlinearity, including the development of new mathematical techniques, the derivation of new mathematical models of physical and neural systems, and the development of new computational approaches to neural and physical science. The unifying theme among these scholars is the objective to gain new insight and understanding of the role of nonlinearity in neural and physical science. The conference is expected to celebrate advances thus far while highlighting the challenges ahead that young scholars can use to guide their future research directions.
