Biography:
Søren Fournais obtained his Ph.D. from Aarhus University in 1999 and Habilitation from Université de Paris- Sud in 2004. He was a Researcher at the CNRS from 2002 to 2006 and then Associate Professor (later Professor) at Aarhus University. He also held ERC Starting grant from 2008 to 2013 and has been a member of the Danish Royal Academy of Sciences and Letters since 2014.
