Changge Ji received his B.S. degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry both from Nanjing University. He also worked as an affiliate research scientist at the State Key Laboratory of Precision Spectroscopy at East China Normal University in 2009.
Professor Ji’s current research interest is in the development and application of polarizable protein force fields, including energetics of the protein/ligand recognition process, large-scale correlated motions in proteins and their biological functions, the dynamics of zinc ion in metalloproteins and its role in enzyme reaction, the role of ion exchange in multidrug transporters, and the absorption and emission spectrums of green fluorescent proteins.
