Center Member Appointed Associate Editor of Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Publications Division has announced that Dr. Xiao He, professor at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, East China Normal University and member of the NYU-ECNU Center for Computational Chemistry at NYU Shanghai, has been appointed as a new Associate Editor of the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling (JCIM). His research focuses on theoretical and computational chemistry, including quantum fragmentation methods, density functional theory, and AI applications in chemistry (AI4Chem).

Published by ACS, the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling is a leading international journal in cheminformatics and molecular modeling, covering topics such as chemical databases, molecular representations, QSAR, virtual screening, molecular docking, molecular dynamics, free energy calculations, QM/MM, multiscale simulations, and AI/machine learning applications in drug discovery, materials design, and catalysis research. The journal places a particular emphasis on methodological innovation, theoretical depth, result validation, and the reliable application of computational methods to real-world chemical and biological problems.
