Huimin Wang is a Professor of the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at East China Normal University. Professor Wang obtained her M.D. from the Medical School of Zhejiang University. She received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Rutgers University (the State University of New Jersey) and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Prior to joining ECNU, she held positions at the Children’s Hospital affiliated to the Medical School of Zhejiang University, Princeton University, and Boston University.

Research Interests

  • Molecular, cellular and circuit processes that underlie the encoding, storage and recall of information in the brain
  • Understanding the mechanisms which underlie cognitive deficits, such as those associated with aging and psychological diseases
  • Identifying the potential pharmacological targets for treating memory disorders
