Everyone uses language every day. Understanding how we process language is the Holy Grail for understanding how our brain works. Building on the interdisciplinary research of neuroscience and linguistics at NYU-ECNU Institute of Brain and Cognitive Science at NYU Shanghai, we invite researchers based in Shanghai to introduce the latest neuroscience advances in the language domain, covering topics of speech perception, production, and language comprehension, centering on basic research and extending to application and clinical aspects.
