Foong Soon Cheong

Assistant Professor of Practice of Accounting



Foong Soon Cheong holds a PhD from Yale University, and has degrees in electrical engineering and high performance computing from the National University of Singapore.

His research interests are in analyst forecasts, information flow in markets, and equity valuation. He has published in the Journal of Accounting Research (JAR), and has presented his research at the University of Chicago (JAR annual conference), Georgetown, HKUST, London Business School, NYU Stern, Purdue, Rutgers, Singapore Management University, Temple, and Yale.

He is a member of the American Accounting Association, and was a senator at the Yale Graduate and Professional Student Senate.
