Do you know what "doing business" means on a daily basis?  How does a corporate career look like? Most importantly, are you prepared to join the workforce? The transition from full-time student to full-time employee is not an easy one. Come and hear career advice from a former executive at a Fortune 50 company and the current Managing Director of a private equity firm. Mr. Frankie Ko will share his insights drawn from his long and successful corporate career.

Frankie Ko is the managing director at AEA Shanghai. Prior to AEA, Frankie spent 31 years with Dow Chemical Company in various manufacturing and commercial leadership roles, and was most recently vice president of greater China business development. He was instrumental in setting up the Shaanxi coal-to-chemical collaboration between Dow and Shenhua Group in 2007. While at Dow, Frankie also acted as the chairman of the Asia-Pacific commercial leadership and development programs and has had extensive joint venture management experience in the past 15 years. He has set up and managed various joint ventures, such as Styron Asia Limited, DuPont Dow Elastomers, Union Carbide (both Guangdong Zhongshan and Shanghai) and Sumitomo Dow Limited.
